I’m very impressed with this little camera. Had it outside under my covered deck for the 1st week, in -30C conditions.
it functioned with no issues. But once I decided to run it with a SD card, I brought it indoors, and hung it to view my front yard from inside my window.
Although I cannot use night vision, because of the reflection off the glass, the camera does very well since my front yard has a street light and the camera can still see most happenings.
But seeing any faces, without night vision on, is non-existent. But, that being said, 2 weeks after using this little gem, I’ve ordered another one. Certainly is worth the money.
2 – Wyze Cam Pan 1080p Pan/Tilt/Zoom Wi-Fi Indoor Smart Home Camera

|Video Capture Resolution||1080p|
- Motion tracking.
- Time-lapse video.
- Mechanical pan and tilt.
- Crisp 1080p video.
- Alexa and IFTTT support.
- Free cloud and local storage.
- CO alarm alert didn’t work in testing.
- Minor barrel distortion.
So far this product has been great, here is a bit of the rundown. With the Wyze cam tilt pan, I also ordered a SanDisk 128gb sd card.
The camera picture quality is great and the audio coming through is very good. There is a bit of a lag, similar however to nest and other smart cameras like this so not a big deal.
The auto night vision function works well. The IR LEDs are enough to light up a pretty large room, up to 15ft away. With 1080p and HD I haven’t been wishing for more pic quality.
Reviewing notifications for noise or movement is super easy as well. I also wanted to test the delay in getting a notification.I opened the front door and within 3 seconds had the notification pop up on my phone.
You can then review the clip, which is 12 seconds long. If you want you can then go directly to live view, or if you have an sd card installed it will record the whole thing.
