ViewSonic XG2405 PROS & CONS
If you bought this and don’t notice a difference in refresh rate, go to your graphics card settings and change the screen resolution and refresh rate. Now: This monitor met all my expectations. The response time and input lag are both top-notch, creating a very precise and comfortable feeling, while the refresh rate is extremely smooth and attractive even on the desktop screen. Even if you can only reach 90fps in games, I would still recommend this screen.
Any jump in fps above 60fps makes a huge difference. The only cons to this monitor are that it has a TN panel and that it does not have a g-sync; I have examined a lot of monitors, and the next monitor with g-sync and/or a widescreen IPS panel is an additional $300 to $700. G-sync is excellent, but I haven’t noticed any screen tearing or jittering on my monitor if these are important to you. They would notice this and possibly want G-Sync if they had a very powerful graphics card, such as 1080.

The stand comes separately packed, so you may as well not use it. I don’t know what you mean by “connecting to another monitor” but I use two monitors on my pc, so you can have separate screens or extended displays.
Is this monitor’s FreeSync compatible with Nvidia 2070 graphics card?
Despite not being on the GSync (Nvidia) compatible list, this monitor ( ViewSonic XG2405 ) has FreeSync (AMD ) Technology, which is activated on my GTX 1070.
Do I have to plug in the display cable?
It may be used as a USB hub, but it does not have a display; you must have a display port or HDMI for display.
