Welcome to tech blog, today i provided good news for POCO F1 users that they are receiving Android 10 with MIUI 11 update.
POCO F1 MIUI 11 Update
Google officially unrolled Android 10 back in September last year. Since then, Xiaomi has unrolled MIUI 11 supported Android 10 for a few of devices, including the Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 9, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7, and more.
While the corporate did release MIUI 11 for the favored POCO F1 back in November last year, the build was supported Android 9 Pie. Late last year, Xiaomi released the kernel sources of the Android 10 update for the POCO F1, Mi MIX 2s, Mi MIX 3, and therefore the Mi 8 series.
This suggested that the corporate was finally prepping up the Android 10 based release for these devices. needless to say , Xiaomi has now started rolling out MIUI 11 supported Android 10 for the POCO F1 and you’ll download it directly .
This Android 10-based build of MIUI 11 for the POCO F1 is supposed for beta testers only. Of course, the highlight of this release is Android 10, but the update also has some smaller improvements like fixing overlap issues in scrolling screenshots.
If you’re curious about trying out the build for yourself, you’ll download it the ZIP file from the link below and manually flash it on your phone.
However, you won’t be ready to install the build using the stock MIUI recovery and you’ll first got to flash the TWRP custom recovery on your device to flash this build successfully.
It’s also worth noting that since this is often a beta build for the POCO F1, you would possibly encounter some bugs which can hamper your experience.
just in case you’re using your device as a daily driver, we’d recommend expecting the stable release which should be unrolled sometime within the near future.
