Panasonic TX-50GX800B Review
This 4k HDR Tv has many features which i provided above, Now it is time for it’s review so let provide you guys here:
Pros
- Cinematic picture performance.
- Multi HDR support – HDR10, HLG, HLG Photo, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
- Classic good looks.
Cons
- A limited black level performance.
- Brightest HDR performance requires Dynamic image preset.
Fantastic picture with one slight annoying issue for me:
This Panasonic TV is has a fantastic image quality, that shines through especially when you view the image via HD channels. I can imagine the 4K viewing experience would be even better.
Although I haven’t seen any 4K films or programs on this TV, I have watched several standard Blu-ray films, and when paired with the fantastic Panasonic UB900 Blu-ray player, the image stands out even more. The picture quality is more lifelike than some other manufactures and the reason I opted for this Brand.
Now to the slight issue I have with it. Although not a major one, it has a small bright power light on the bottom left of the screen (Green when on) and (Red when off). This has been at times off putting when watching in a dark room and the TV image frames are dark themselves.
I have a Sony TV that manages to have no visible light when either on or off (Standby), so not sure how other brands can’t do this sensible simple thing. I may not affect all people but thought best to mention – I managed to find how to turn this off, so my fault for not reading the instructions properly in the first place. Great TV for those looking for a 40″ screen.
Good all-rounder:
A good quality product. The picture quality especially on HD is very good though the viewing angle is not as good as my previous television and relatively narrow if the full picture quality is to be experienced.
Sound quality is good enough though a soundbar would be a requirement to experience the full capabilities of the set in this regard. The remote works well but is a bit cheap in looks and feel but no worse than with other sets.
Physically the television is very neat looking and it is easy to stow cables out of sight in the slotted stand. Am very satisfied with this purchase.
Excellent tv for the price:
Excellent tv would highly recommend. The picture quality is outstanding, especially with Dolby vision on Netflix.
Quality picture:
I loved the easy set up straight out of the box. Picture and sound quality are excellent.
