The 343CQR is our Calibration Not Required list because it gives solid accuracy with no calibration requirement. There are a few minor flaws, but it definitely gets on our list of Calibration Not Required. MPRT is a backlight strobe that reduces motion blur and cancels Adaptive-Sync. It also sets the brightness at more than 860 nits, which is unusual.
You can try to reduce it using the contrast control, but this will remove most of the picture’s depth and quality. We recommend using Adaptive-Sync and disabling MPRT. Finally, Zero Latency should always be on to ensure the lowest possible input lag.
