Solid performer
Unlike SanDisk’s **FAIL** in this same space with their recent new one, this has a metal body and seems to be more responsive, etc. over the other. You’re better served with this one over the other brands there on this.
This is still ticking-kickin’ after three weeks of use as my external store on my NVidia Shield TV unit- SanDisk’s comparable? The plastic case (which I was dubious about) welded around the circuit board? Baked itself to death in only a week’s time. Get this one, folks- same rough price, slightly faster, and a heck of a lot more robust.
Used for a Tesla dashcam
Got this for a Tesla model 3. 64 GB for the sentry and dashcam features. Fills up in about two weeks then you need to delete the sentry images which fill up the drive. The dashcam writes over the older files but the sentry mode is saved until you manually delete it.
I like how small it is so you don’t have to worry about it sticking out and possibly getting snagged on something. Would definitely recommend this product.

Really high read speeds and great looks
Samsung Bar Plus 32GB drive is a looker, there are no questions about it. It looks better than any USB drive I had.
It’s well made and compact (at the same time not being too tiny so its hard to plug-in/out or easy to lose) so that it won’t obstruct any USB ports around it. It’s great value. Then I compared it with my Lexar (“L”) S74 64GB drive (yes, usually the higher capacity drives will have higher speeds) to see if this uses USB 3.1 bandwidth properly.
“L” drive in terms of looks is quite opposite of the Samsung Bar Plus. “L” is bulky, has brash colors, plasticy,… But speeds-wise, it’s a different story.
Samsung’s read speed is nearing twice as much as “L” (well, +60% to be more accurate) at ~224MB/s compared to ~140MB/s of Lexar.
But, “L”s writing speed is ~100MB/s, which is about three-times higher than Samsung’s ~34MB/s.
At least for me, it does not make sense to have so high reading speed while sacrificing 3x writing speed. For regular work, it’s better to have a balanced read & write speeds.
TBH Samsung’s 34MB/s is not bad for a cheap drive, and maybe fine for normal tasks (unless you’re in a hurry :-D). Too bad Samsung didn’t use the USB 3.1 bandwidth properly (probably due to cost factors). See the images for more detailed speed comparison. All tests were done on the same PC, same port (and same conditions as much as possible).
Decent drive with still slow write speeds
Decent performance for a 32GB drive, but with the write speeds were better. ATTO tests show a solid 227MB/s read speeds but write speeds were in the 25-28MB/s range. In Windows 10, write speeds are regularly between 16-20MB/s when copying large files. Gets warm but not hot, unlike the last-gen METAL BAR drive. The Grey drive has a matte feel, not slippery like the chrome version of the previous-gen (which I was always dropping because of its slippery nature).
Other drives (like Sandisk Flair) that cost less offer about the same write speed, so I would say that write speeds are this drives downside. BUT, I use these as Windows installers, so price and read speed is most important to me. It’s a few bucks more than a Sandisk Flair, but I’ve found the Flair’s to be unreliable after about a year, so hopefully these will fair better.

Simply the best
This is the best USB stick I’ve ever owned, bar none. It’s everything the manufacturer claims: scorching fast, versatile and (so far) durable. I bought two of these after I choked at the price for a similar product endorsed by my computer’s manufacturer. Now I’m buying them for family members. Highly recommended.

Working as expected. I’m getting 45-49Mbps transfer speeds on my Note 9. Purdy sure the 300Mbps is on a laptop. But it’s a really great little device! Love it! Love how it flips to USB and to Type-C. When I was transferring it did get really warm.
Idk if that is a con to some of you or not. But it did not bother me. I did take a break from transferring files so it can cool off. Then started transferring again. I recommend it.
