This Laptop is Awesome. At first I was skeptical, but after I got to do a test run with it, I realize how great it really is. Firstly, it’s extremely fast especially with downloading anything.
The graphics are very bright and very colorful and looks very HD quality, not choppy. It runs games just great, no lag. It very much impressed me and very happy with this item.
The only this is I had to buy a webcam for it an external cd/DVD player because it doesn’t come with one which I didn’t realize at first. But that’s not a big deal you can get one for cheap that’s good quality. This laptop is the BEST so far.

The ROG Zephyrus M Thin and Portable Gaming Laptop by ASUS is my first 100% gaming laptop and while I’ll admit to being blown away by this machine
PROS:
– Built quality
– Very high performance
– Budget-friendly compared to other RTX laptops
– Portability
– Thermals (Didn’t notice thermal throttling while playing games for a couple hours)
Cons:
– AMAZON, IT IS NOT RTX 2070 IT IS RTX 2070 MAX-Q
– Fan noise (understandably)
– Touchpad, you can’t find it cool after using a MacBook right?.

The laptop is a perfect all-rounder. It can game very comfortably and can do basically everything you throw at it. The build quality is great. The only real downside was the track pad. It was very responsive but felt cheap. Overall, a great laptop.

Pros:
144 FPS is really nice.
Graphics and GPU are great for Warzone and RL. I’ve had no problems with gaming or internet browsing.
Cons:
The bloatware, just remove it so you have extra space.
Norton is annoying.
The battery will last maybe 3 hours, seemingly no matter how much or little you are doing.
The fans get loud and it gets hot, I plan on getting a cooling pad.
After three weeks of use it works as it should. I study and play rocket league primarily so I’m not asking a ton from it. One thing I noticed is that the FPS drops automatically to 60 if the charger isn’t connected. Maybe I need to go into settings.
I also had to adjust the brightness and wear blue light glasses because it put a higher strain on my eyes than just playing with a console with a tv. Overall, I’m very happy I got this and I think it will last a while. Very sturdy, very buff graphics and gpu, and spot-on price for a solid budget-friendly, higher-performing gaming laptop.

If you want a laptop to work and play, it’s an excellent option! Now if you are looking for something portable to carry around and support it on your legs for 4 hours, I recommend you to see other DELL laptops, smaller and lighter.
Pros
- The quality of the materials
- With an SSD it is very fast! excellent for working and gaming
- Alienware software
- Keyboard with hotkeys (Configurable colors … you never get bored)
- Screen with a lot of brightness and practically without bleed
- Silent, even playing!, stays always cold.
- Configuration is high-end for its price
- Everyone likes its design … definitely an Alienware 🙂
Cons
- It is big and heavy.
- Came with a badly armed key, now it’s fine.
- Charger is giant and with an uncomfortable cable.
- Drivers gave conflicts and errors, but after updating it is already working very well.
- The hard disk is very slow, I recommend installing an SSD.
- No card reader! why!?
- Short battery life, but it’s not the purpose to use it unplugged.

I love the form factor of this laptop, coming from a macbook pro I wanted something with a similar footprint. The hinge is of good quality and is easy to open. It’s definitely light and portable although using it on my lap I try not to cover the fans as they blow out of the bottom. The camera works really well for logging into windows and never has trouble with facial detection.
Thermals:
I haven’t done much serious long term gaming yet, but so far the thermals seem to be very good. I ran a bunch of graphics tests just to see how it compares with my desktop card (1080ti) and it didn’t seem get very warm. I will update once I’ve had an opportunity to stress the machine more.
Battery Life:
This is probably my biggest disappointment and is probably just because I’m coming from a MacBook pro. Even when I am not gaming, battery life seems pretty bad. The machine will die in a day just being in sleep mode when not connected to power. Maybe there is some more tweaking to improve that, that I can do as well. Maybe undervolting as a lot of people suggest will improve battery life as well.
Overall:
Very happy with my purchase, this machine kicks butt for RTX graphics. Ran the RTX Star wars demo and it was buttery smooth where my 1080ti was stuttering.
7 – MSI GS65 Stealth-002

I love this machine. I haven’t done a ton of gaming on it but it has rocked FFXIV and Black Desert like a champion for a couple hours at a time.
Pros
- Sleek, professional, and beautiful design.
- The multi-monitor support works super well.
- Thoughtful cooling design- this puppy can handle a LOT before it starts to get too- hot (90′-100’C). The flipped motherboard was a great choice.
- Dragon Center’s “Cooler Boost” technology -nearly- eliminates the need for an external cooling fan (though if you care about your machine at all you will still get a cooling pad at least).
- WORK. HORSE. This machine could handle 4k renders in Maya while editing texture maps in Photoshop. In fact, this machine eats Photoshop for breakfast and can run it behind virtually any other program- like Zbrush or Unreal for instance- without eating up too much processing power or RAM. (Naturally, you shouldn’t leave RAM munching software running overnight or something. This machine likely wouldn’t handle it well).
- Can handle a few-hour long Maya render. It cries a bit, but it can handle it.
- The keys feel wonderful. The hotkeys on the keyboard are super helpful and function well.
- The display is absolutely magnificent and MSI’s “True Color” options really make a huge difference. It’s like having a Mac’s display without having to own a crummy Mac machine.
- The mousepad functions are wonderful. (Such as scrolling, zooming, ect… Though I don’t use it for working.)
- Finger-Print sign-in works great.
Cons
- The Speaker sound quality is REALLY bad. However the sound card when using headphones makes up for it.
- The battery is nothing to write home about. You will get 2-3 hours of work in tops before needing to charge (maybe 5 if you’re just writing or web browsing).
- Adding an additional SSD is TERRIFYING. Not impossible, just nerve-wracking (due to the fact that you have to flip the motherboard over to install the SSD without tearing a ribbon or messing something up). If you have never built a computer or disassembled one before, I recommend just buying a version of this machine with a bigger HD or using an external. I added an additional 1TB Samsung Evo to mine.
- The casing scratches easy on the outside- be wary. (I earned a couple of small scratches when adding the extra SSD).
- Watch your background processes, such as Adobe CC or Autodesk manager. This is still a laptop, not a desktop- and too many background processes tend to heat this badboy up easily and unnecessarily. I recommend having such processes disabled when you aren’t using them.

This is good and powerful laptop. here are few points which i like and dont like.
Pros
- Build quality is solid.
- Keyboard is good.
- Screen is superb.
- Performance is superb, although not the very top notch as the specs may suggest.
Cons
- The noticeable downside is battery life even with minimal use. Browsing/watching a movie gives you 4.5-5 hours tops.
- Hot and loud when gaming – only good with headphones.
Overall, it actually good for development and casual gaming – your all in one machine, which can handle whatever you throw at it and be mobile at the same time.
9 – HP OMEN 15″ Gaming Laptop

So far I like everything. I have never play a game with so high quality without lag. So far is I’ll say the money is worth it.

For now I don’t seem to have big problem with this laptop,
I bought it for PUBG and its portability. Used to own a 2011 model of Alienware M17xR3, that was really heavy compared to this one.
I think the only concern I have is heating problem. Yes, the stock paste could be bad, I didn’t change it though. I undervolted every core to 3.2x max and some other settings. Before undervolting, Medium-low settings on PUBG would brought the CPU temp to up to 80-85Celsius, after undervolting, it became around 75-80C max, which was not bad, considering that I didn’t repaste it.
As for the speakers, I think they are not loud enough? I was watching Fed Up on this laptop and the voice was really not big enough. At least compared to Alienware. But for gaming I’d never not use a headset. So this is nothing for me.
I’d recommend this Gaming Laptops to those who’d want portability and ability to play almost all new major games on the market right now with at least medium settings and high fps.
Final Predict
Apart from a few Cons, I like almost all the Gaming Laptops that i provided above in the article. So if you like to buy these Gaming Rigs then should Read its pros and cons which I provided.
If you ask me which ono i would choose here, My Answer would be Asus ROG G531GT 15.6 Inch FHD Gaming Laptop 2020 which i put first in the list.
