This great-looking laptop is a value choice while still getting low weight and decent performance (SSD and I3 processor). The back-lit keyboard and nice screen (1920 x 1080) were appreciated touches for the primary user; my son. I like the ASUS brand generally.
Read the specs. We had specific priorities and this laptop may be missing some features/specs that someone else might consider important; NO LAN port, not touch screen, only 128 GB hard drive
By today’s standards, this is the best laptop we could find for $500. Of course, six to twelve months from now you will likely be able to get more for the same price. However, by today’s standards, we are very happy with the purchase.
