Since my first Motorola back in the day, Android has always been my favorite OS. This is my first attempt at a Chromebook, which I’ve been excited to try for a while. I was initially concerned about performance and learning curve, but then I had a good reason to give it a try.
I have two notebooks, one Dell and one HP, with the latter for remote work, and the other for personal use, finance, volunteer work, etc. I have been working as a freelance writer as a sideline, so why would I need yet another device? So I wanted a device totally separate from work and other digital activities in everyday life, one that was just for writing.
Beautiful design, fast, clear, wide keyboard – all very important, as I have large hands – I am so glad I chose this device. The screen is also good for touch, and the backlit keyboard is ideal for late-night work. Everything moved easily from my Google account to it., Overall, I am very satisfied with this device and appreciate the Chrome OS experience, it’s nice to get away from Windows for a bit.
